Alice "Mary" Thomas, 85 of Baldwinsville, passed away on Friday, June 17, at Crouse hospital after a brief illness. Mary was raised in Oneonta, NY, where she met Charles Thomas, to whom she was married for 63 years until his passing in 2018. Together they moved to Baldwinsville where they settled and raised their family. Mary was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Baldwinsville for over 50 years, and worked for many years as a nurse's aide at Syracuse Home. She was always involved in giving to her community, she volunteered with; The Baldwinsville Library, Cheery Visitors, F.I.S.H., and the Rape Crisis Center. She was also a member of the AKA and raised Alaskan Malamutes that she showed in many events, she would also bring them to visit shut-ins.

In addition to her husband, Mary is predeceased by her mother Violet Condon.

Surviving is her daughter, Christel Connors; Sons, Charles (Mariellen) Thomas, James Thomas; grandchildren, James, David, Zachary, Justin, Cody; 4 great grandchildren, and a special niece Rita.

A calling hour will be held at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St. Baldwinsville, from 9:45-10:45 am Saturday with a service to follow. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a Parkinson 's research organization.
