Alice "Ruth" Conroy, 95, of Syracuse, passed away Saturday at her son's home surrounded by her family. Born in Richmond, GA, she moved to the Syracuse area in 1951.

Ruth was a stay at home mom for some years and then worked as a waitress and bartender. In her later years, she took classes in home care and became a home health aide for several years. She enjoyed spending time with her family.

Ruth was predeceased by her sons, Cecil and Calvin Davis; and former husband Leland Davis Sr.

Ruth is survived by her son, Leland (Diane) Davis Jr., Baldwinsville; daughter, Sadonna Leeby, Palm Coast, FL.; sister, Edna Pauline Todd, Belton, SC; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, December 5, from 3 to 5 p.m at the Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville. There will be no funeral services. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
