Alexie N. "Alex" Stout, 85, of Bradenton, FL, formerly of Syracuse, died Friday, March 28, 2003 at Blake Hospital, Bradenton, FL. Born in Ludlowville, NY he was a graduate of the Cornell College of Agriculture. He was an agent with Mass. Mutual Insurance for over 40 years and a partner in the pension group of Straub, Young and Stout. He was a retired Lt. Colonel in the Air Force and was Commander of the 108th A.P.W. Unit at Hancock Airport. He was a member of the Onondaga Kawanis Club and very active at the University United Methodist Church, Syracuse. His first wife Mary Jane died in 1996.

Surviving: his second wife, Virginia Henderson whom he married in 1998; one daughter, Nancy Noble Porter of Baldwinsville; two sisters, Emily Hammond and Evelyn Laudenslager both of Loma Linda, CA; several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, April 26, 2003 at University United Methodist Church, Syracuse. The family will receive friends following the services.
