Ada M. (Clark) Gillespie, 90, passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2009 at home after a long illness. She was born in Pennellville, NY and lived in the Baldwinsville area for most of her life. She had moved to Lowville, NY in the late 70's then returned to Baldwinsville in 1988. She was a member of St. Mary's Church in Baldwinsville. She enjoyed family, crocheting, music, and playing the piano. She was famous among family and friends for her homemade donuts. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Hubert H. Gillespie in 1991 and a sister E. Laura Williams in 2008.

She is survived by her children and their spouses: three sons, Donald (Nancy) Gillespie of Adams Center, Larry Gillespie of Copenhagen, NY, Stephen (Linda) Gillespie of Baldwinsville; three daughters, Linda (Bob) Meyer of Fulton, Cynthia (Tom) Yerdon of Fulton and Susan (Bob) Bertollini of Baldwinsville; as well as 13 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. A special thank you to St. Joseph's homecare nurse, Sara Denton.

Services: 12:00pm Wednesday, July 8, 2009 at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville. Burial, Jacksonville Cemetery, Jacksonville. There will be a calling hour from 11:00am to 12:00pm at the funeral home, prior to the service.
