Obituary

Aaron Bradshaw, 96, passed on to join his beloved wife on September 3, 2020. He was born in Portland, OR on July 20, 1924; the youngest of three sons. He grew up in Washington, DC and graduated from Eastern High School in 1942. He then served in the U.S. Army Air Force from 1942 until 1945.
Aaron met his wife, Mildred (Chris) Christopher at Cornell University. Aaron and Chris were married on December 24, 1947. They settled in Dryden, NY where they both taught at the Dryden Central High School. He later worked for Mohawk Airlines and General Electric Co. They had four children and then moved to Baldwinsville, NY in 1962 with General Electric. Aaron later worked for Syracuse University from which he eventually retired.
Aaron was an avid toy train collector and a member of the Train Collectors Association and the Toy Train Operators Society. He and his good friend Russell Lucy set up train layouts at the Shacksboro Schoolhouse Museum on several occasions. He also became an honorary member of the Female Charitable Society of Baldwinsville, NY for his services in maintaining the Society's loan closet wheelchairs.
Aaron was predeceased by his brothers, Carl Henry Bradshaw and Paul Bradshaw, Jr., his parents, Paul and Helena Bradshaw, and his wife of 62 years, Chris.
He is survived by his children Margaret (George) Sollish, Carl Henry (Alexandra) Bradshaw, Christopher Bradshaw and Paula (Kandy Kowanes) Bradshaw; two grandsons, James and Michael Bradshaw, great-grandson Henry Bradshaw and six nieces and nephews.
