Marie R. Burke, 86, of Syracuse died Monday, April 23, 2007 at James Square Health & Rehabilitation Centre surrounded by her children and grandchildren. She was born in Syracuse and lived the first 7 years of her life in Lebanon before moving back to the Syracuse area. She worked for Porter-Cable / Rockwell in Syracuse for over 20 years and was also very active at St. Patrick’s Church in Jordan. She was predeceased by her first husband Gus J. Robinson in 1965 and her second husband, Gilbert M. Burke in 1988.

Survivors: two daughters, Arlene Shanahan of LaFayette, NY and Jeanmarie Robinson of Lindenwold, NJ; one son, Wayne Robinson of Memphis, NY; a sister, Anna J. Vanetti of Syracuse; 3 grandchildren; 2 great grandsons; and several nieces and nephews.

Services: 10:30 am Saturday, April 28, 2007 at Falardeau Funeral Home, Baldwinsville and 11:00 am at St. Mary’s Church, Baldwinsville. Burial, Oakwood Cemetery, Syracuse. Calling hours are 3 - 5 pm Friday, April 27, 2007 at the funeral home, 93 Downer St. Baldwinsville.

Jeanmarie and Family..I have known you and your family for over 18years and I always had the utmost respect for your mother..she was such a beautiful person both inside and out...although not expected, I was very sad on hearing of her passing....I know now that she and the Lord our God are having a wonderful time!
